Trinity Springs was featured in The Villages Daily Sun for its creative memory care activities and engaging resident experiences. From themed dining events to outdoor gatherings, these programs demonstrate how the community supports connection, joy, and daily life enrichment for residents.
‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ Event for Memory Care Residents
A recent highlight was a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”-inspired luncheon created by Jasmine, activities assistant for memory care at Trinity Springs. The event was inspired by the Tiffany & Co. dining experience in New York City.
“While there is the iconic movie, there is an actual experience in New York at the Tiffany and Co. store where guests can enjoy a meal while surrounded by opulence,” Jasmine told The Villages Daily Sun.
About 30 residents joined the event, enjoying tea, croissants, scones, cookies, and fresh fruit. Guests wore sparkling tiaras and pearls while watching “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” transforming the afternoon into a memorable and immersive experience.
Jasmine intentionally planned the event as an inclusive alternative to a traditional Mother’s Day celebration, ensuring all residents could participate.
“Our goal is to bring joy to the residents each day,” Jasmine said. “Having a resident or their loved one tell me, ‘You gave an experience to my wife I haven’t been able to give,’ it truly is the best feeling and lets me know I’m doing the right thing.”

Encouraging Connection Through Outdoor Activity
In addition to themed events, Trinity Springs prioritizes daily opportunities for movement and social engagement. Melody, business development specialist, highlighted the importance of physical activity, supported by new outdoor equipment.
During a recent sunshine social, residents gathered in the secure courtyard to walk, connect, and enjoy the fresh air. These moments offer more than recreation—they support overall well-being.
Research from National Institutes of Health indicates that access to natural light and outdoor exposure may support mood and daily rhythms for people living with dementia.
Daily Life Enrichment in Assisted Living and Memory Care
Life enrichment is a core part of daily life at Trinity Springs, both in assisted living and memory care. The community offers structured and flexible programming throughout the day to support engagement and independence.
“We do multiple activities every day for both our assisted living and our memory care residents,” Melody said. “It is important to us and to them to stay active because no one should feel like a senior living community is the end of their fun.”
These life enrichment programs include social events, creative activities, and movement-based programs designed specifically for seniors, including those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
A Faith-Based Approach to Whole-Person Care
Trinity Springs is one of the few faith-based senior living communities serving The Villages area. Spiritual well-being is integrated alongside social and physical programming.
Residents can participate in weekly worship services, sing-alongs with local pastors, Bible studies, and prayer groups. Chaplain support is also available for personal guidance and connection.
This approach supports the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—through meaningful daily experiences.
