When a friend loses a loved one, how should you respond? Mary Ellen Shea, of The Widow Mentor, will present the Do’s and Don’ts of Supporting a Friend in Grief from 1:30-2:30 Tuesday, March 19, in the Trinity Springs Movie Theater.

Mary Ellen Shea, M.S., a seasoned hospice professional wit  more than two decades of experience, has embarked on a new journey as a bereavement professional, group facilitator, and grief educator in The Villages.

She leverages her masterful leadership skills cultivated through dedicated service in hospice care.  Drawing from her own profound experiences, including the loss of two husbands, two sons and two parents (one by suicide); Mary Ellen brings a deeply enriched perspective to her work. This personal journey has gifted her with a unique understanding and empathy, which she wholeheartedly channels into offering compassionate support to other facing similar challenges.
